This study integrates the Kano two‐dimensional quality model and quality function deployment (QFD) to construct a systematic mechanism for food and beverage service planning and improvement. This study adopts a three stage research framework: 1. Surveying food and beverage service needs, 2. Extracting key quality factors for food and beverage service, 3. Proposing methods for improving food and beverage service. Based on the results of this research, the most five important improvement action plans are personal professional skills and knowledge, increasing the visibility of restaurant advertising, providing immediate feedback to customers, standardizing quality of ingredient purchasing, and improving time efficiency of meal preparation.

Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics
Advances in genetic research and molecular biology techniques have made it possible to begin to characterize the underlying genetic factors that predispose patients to serious forms of drug-induced skin injury (DISI). To facilitate research in this area, we have set out standardized phenotypic definitions for (i) Stevens-Johnson syndrome/toxic epidermal necrolysis (SJS/TEN), (ii) acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP), and (iii) hypersensitivity syndrome (HSS; also known as drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS) and drug-induced hypersensitivity syndrome (DIHS)). A DISI Expert Working Group comprising participants with varied expertise reviewed and debated current terminology and diagnostic criteria for DISI and agreed on the minimum phenotypic criteria for selected forms of DISI (SJS/TEN, AGEP, and HSS). In addition, an algorithm has been developed to aid appropriate clinical categorization of patients with DISI. These standardized criteria will be important in facilitating adequate and accurate patient recruitment in order to advance research in pharmacogenomic, immunological, mechanistic, and epidemiological studies.Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics (2011) 89 6, 896–901. doi:10.1038/clpt.2011.79

In most of the restaurant meal ordering is relying on the interaction with waiters to place order into the kitchen. In busy hours of restaurant this coordination is a challenge result in un-satisfaction to the customer. To realize this, Intelligent Restaurant is designed. This Restaurant uses modern innovation such as multi-touch module, RF module, Meal Serving Robot and database to improve quality of services of Restaurant and to enhance customers' dining experience. A meal serving robot is a line following robot which is designed using sensor to track the black line path predetermined for serving. Android Application-PayPal is used for online payment.

Restaurant industry has been experiencing technology innovation to uphold its service quality for decades. Studies have suggested that the technology adoption would lead to beneficial consequences on operation performance. The current study was conducted to design and implement computerized restaurant menu system, to analyze the requirement for the proposed system, to design and develop computerized restaurant menu system and to test and implement the system. This study also analyze effect of the information provided by the computerized restaurant menu system, the service of a waiting staff, and technology innovation on menu displaying device on restaurant customer’s satisfaction. Data were collected from a full-service restaurant in Bauchi. Sixty-nine customers (N=69) were invited to make responses to the questionnaire. From the data collected, the analysis indicated that the information on the menu, services from waiting staff and the innovative technology in restaurant have positive impact on customer satisfaction.
