  • Write Notes- It should be noted that IGNOU only accepts handwritten assignments. Therefore, you should not type or print out your assignments. 
  • A4 Size Paper- Ensure you only write on foolscap or A4-sized paper as you complete your assignment.  
  • Space for Remarks- After you have finished your response, leave at least one or two lines blank so the assessor can provide feedback.
  • Paper Choice- Instead of using blank paper to do your assignment, IGNOU officials recommend using ruled paper.
  • Choice of Pen- To complete their assignments during each TEE session, candidates may use a black or blue pen. Candidates are not permitted to use red or other coloured pens.
  • Handwriting- In addition to this, having better handwriting allows you to finish your assignments more effectively.
  • Avoid Copying- Copied responses are going to get a score of zero. Make sure that you don’t replicate any assignments from other students, otherwise, the centre can reject your assignment. 
  • Question Paper- You do not have to include a question paper, but you should write each one out before you submit it. 
  • Make Presentable- Once you have completed the assignment writing task, use a paper file to properly arrange all the assignments. 
  • Submit the Assignment of your study centre- Any other IGNOU centre, like the Regional Centre, Evaluation Division, or Registration for Evaluation, cannot receive the assignment from students.

  • Appropriateness of your Information: In your content, the evaluator wants to see the relevance of the topic, appropriateness of your information, and unbiasedness. Make sure that you keep everything to the point.

Presentation

  • Conciseness – Ensure that your content is concise and you draw lines after each answer. You should also use charts for clear explanations.

Last Date to Submit IGNOU Assignment

The final day to turn in your IGNOU assignment for the July session is tentatively set for September 10, 2023. Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) level programmes in the online and ODL modes have started accepting IGNOU assignments for the December 2023 term as of August 10, 2023. It should be noted that you can only take the exam if your assignment has been turned in. 

How to Submit IGNOU Assignments Online and Offline 

Once you have prepared your assignment, it’s time to submit it. There are two available options for submitting your assignment, online mode and offline mode. Let’s look at the online method first.

Online 

Follow these steps to submit the IGNOU assignment online:

  • Step 1: First of all, visit the official website of IGNOU at http://webservices.ignou.ac.in.
  • Step 2: Go to the news and events section of the IGNOU Regional Center’s official webpage.
  • Step 3: You will see an option for Assignment Submission or Assignment Guidelines. Click on the option and continue with your submission process. 
  • Step 4: You will be provided with a form to fill out. Fill out the form properly, and provide your mandatory details like your name, programme code, enrollment number, and other important information. 
  • Step 5: Finally, submit your phone and attach a scanned copy of your assignment. 

Students can also submit their assignments via offline mode. You can easily do that by just visiting your study centre. Make sure that your assignment has all the mandatory information as explained above before you submit it.

Your IGNOU assignment must be written on A4-sized blank paper, though the ruled paper is also acceptable. IGNOU assignment: should it be typed or handwritten? You have to write your assignment by hand. Assignments that are typewritten or printed won’t be accepted.

Yes, you must write the questions in your assignments first, followed by the beginning of your responses. Answers shouldn’t be written in the form of essays, but you still need to prepare in a way that makes sense to the investigator. such as points, diagrams, and paragraphs for each new point, if necessary.

The June-2024 Term-end Examinations of the University for ODL & Online Programmes (Pen & Paper & CBT Mode) is likely to commence from 01st June-2024 onwards. Online link for submission of the examination form (TEE, PROJECTS SUBMISSION & PRACTICAL EXAMINATIONS) by the eligible students for June-2024 Term-end Examination is also open along with the schedule and necessary instructions/guidelines thereof. The students may submit online examination form accordingly, by following the instructions and guidelines provided.

From January 2023 admission cycle onwards, the University has implemented the Project Evaluation Fees and Practical Examination Fees for having Project and Practical component of the Programmes. Accordingly SED has notified its Notification vide No. F.No.IG/SED/Practicals/Projects/2023/12295 dated 07.03.2023.

IGRAM IGNOU is mainly for the already registered students of IGNOU. There are several times when students may get troubled in different situations. How to Complain at IGNOU Grievance Portal?

If you think that you have an issue that you cannot resolve on your own or if your study centre is not responding well, you can take the matter to the IGNOU Grievance Portal. Here is the process that you can follow to complain at IGNOU Grievance Portal.

Step – 1 – Visit the official site through the link https://igram.ignou.ac.in

Step – 2 – Now click on the space of Grievance Category to select the right Query Type.

Step – 3 – Now select the subject as per your grievance.

Step – 4 – After selecting the right options, click on the option of Next.

Step – 5 – Now, here you have to enter all the crucial details.

Step – 6 – After you have provided your basic details, now you can write your query or the complaint due to which you have entered the IGNOU Grievance Portal.

Step – 7 – Upload any documents that you may need to explain a situation or problem.

Step – 8 – Check through all the details again properly and then click on the Submit button to finally submit the grievance.

Step – 9 – You can get a GST number to your email that you need to keep safe till the problem is not resolved.

IGNOU Grievance Status

Here are the steps that you need to follow to track your IGNOU Grievance Status.

Step – 1 – Visit the same portal where you registered your grievance at https://igram.ignou.ac.in .

Step – 2 – Now you will find the option of Track Grievance response on which you need to click.

Step – 3 – A blank space will come up where you have to provide your GST Number.

Step – 4 – After you have provided the GST Number, you have to click on the button of Get Status.

This will let you know the actual status of your grievance. You can know whether the grievance has been checked out or not and also whether it has reached out to the next stage or not.

I have done admission in IGNOU Bangalore and mistakenly selected wrong regional centre, I have been sending mails repeatedly to the university but there is no response from their end from back 3months . worst university and zero support for students by their end.

Respected sir/ma’am, I want to bring to your attention that I’m a student of NCHM-IGNOU program (ODL). I recently re-registered for the BHM program on 10th May, 2024 for the July session 2024. During the re-registration process, I was only shown one compulsory subject, which is TS-06 (Tourism Marketing). I completed the re-registration for this subject and paid the fees for the 3rd year. However, I later discovered that there is an another new compulsory subject BF06 (Professional Ethics), which was not shown to me during the re-registration process on the website.

My main concern is how to add this new subject to my course after already registered for course in this cycle of July 2024. Please help me with this matter.

I have a query relating to assignments, i have regd with ignou for BCOM AF in jan 2014 so my admission cycle is 2013-14 i want to appear for exam on june 2016, so whether 2013-14  admmision cycle assignments (or) 2015-16 assignments are applicable for me and when i am checking in ignou website for assignments i am not able to find links to download for following subjects BEGE104, FST1. FEG1& FEG2
